Position: Accountant/Financial Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant/Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts

Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements

Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of returns

Monitor cash flow and prepare MIS reports for management

Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3-5 years experience as an Accountant/Financial Accountant or in a similar role

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and MS Excel

Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
