The Finance Operations team at slice ensures seamless, accurate, and scalable financial processes that power our products and partnerships. We work closely with product, payments, compliance, and operations teams to maintain financial integrity while enabling fast and reliable transaction experiences for our customers.

About the role

As a Finance Operations Executive, you will manage and optimize financial transaction workflows across the slice ecosystem. You will work closely with internal teams and external payment partners to ensure reconciliation accuracy, settlement efficiency, and compliance with financial policies.

This role is ideal for someone who understands fintech transaction flows, enjoys solving reconciliation challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You will do

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of transactions across UPI, cards, wallets, and payment gateways
• Monitor settlement cycles and ensure timely and accurate fund settlements with partners and merchants
• Identify and investigate transaction mismatches, chargebacks, and reconciliation gaps
• Coordinate with Payment Aggregators (PA), Payment Gateways (PG), banks, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
• Manage vendor invoicing, payment processing, and financial documentation
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes
• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports to track transaction performance and financial metrics
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, audit requirements, and internal financial controls

What You will need

• 13 years of experience in Finance Operations, Reconciliation, Accounts, or Payment Operations
• Hands-on experience in reconciliation processes and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of Excel and financial tools
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset
