Role Description
Title: Finance Operations - Apprentice
Location: GCC, Bangalore
Reporting to: Manager Finance Ops GHQ
Duration: 6 months
1. Primary Purpose of Role:
Are you someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and understanding how businesses run Kickstart your career with us as a Finance Operations Apprentice and gain hands-on experience in real-world finance processes at a global organization.
Finance Operations Apprentice is designed to build foundational finance knowledge, process understanding, and analytical capabilities within a dynamic shared services environment.
- To develop strong understanding of Finance Operations processes and their impact on business performance.
- To gain hands-on exposure to accounting, reporting, and transactional finance activities.
- To build analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills using real-time business data.
- To enhance communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Work across key finance areas like Accounting, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Treasury, and Master Data Management (MDM) etc.
- Assist in preparation of reports, reconciliations, and data validation activities.
- Perform analytics, invoice validation, or transaction processing under supervision.
- Use Excel and finance systems to analyze data and generate insights
- Collaborate with teams to solve business problems and improve processes
