Roles and Responsibility
- All accounts and finance related matters of Institute (Accounts, Budget, Audit, Finance, Costing etc.)
- Procurement functions of institute.
- Extend initial support (Financial as well as procurement) to upcoming projects of institute till they stabilize.
- To initiate and sustain cost control measures.
- To oversee smooth functioning of the department by establishing sound accounting processes.
- To ensure that procurement related meetings, processes, payment cycles are streamlined to achieveon-time supplies to indenting departments.
- Budget preparation of institute and monitoring it by comparing the provisions with actual expenditures.
- Prepare andsubmit regularly MIS to management.
- Regular meetings with Purchase Heads, Project Heads, Architects for Institute Projects to ensure financial discipline.
- Providing guidance, support to team members to achieve timely completion of tasks and to ensure variations in accuracy, delivery is minimized.
- Liaison with bank authorities, government offices, Symbiosis Open Education Societyofficials, major suppliers, Contractors, Land-owners, Business partners.
- To check financial viability of all proposals, agreements and give inputs to management.
- Statutory compliance in all matters.
- Financial data, presentations, analysis to be submitted to management.
- Regular reporting to management on financial matters.
- Submits recommendations in investment and procurement decisions.
- Any other related work assigned from time to time by the management
