JOB TITLE : FINANCE OFFICER
LOCATION : DELHI
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Financial Operations including budgeting, reporting, audits and Statutory compliances (Society Registration Act, FCRA, IT Returns & Renewals etc.).
* Maintain day-to-day accounts update and financial transactions of the organization.
* Prepare Bills & Vouchers with required Means of Verifications (MoVs), and maintain cash/bank books, Update Tally ERP9/Tally Prime on a regular and monthly basis.
* Prepare and Manage project-wise Monthly Cash/Activity Flows, Accounting of Donor fund utilization as per Projections and Reporting.
*Fixed Assess management .
* Ensure statutory compliances including TDS, P-Tax, PF, ESI, and GST (as applicable).
* Coordinate with auditors for statutory and quarterly internal audits.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports after necessary adjustments etc. if required.
* Handle all banking operations including online banking, RTGS/NEFT transactions, and safe keeping of financial documentation for Statutory Requirements.
* Maintain inventory and Vendors /Asset registers, Stock & Usage Registers,
* Safe Keeping of Accounting Dada (Soft & Hard Copies) year wise
* Maintain Organizational HR & Financial, TA, Data Protection and Sustainability Policies including General Office Rules etc;
* Manage financial reporting to management, donors and partners on time with accuracy.
* Collaborate with leadership and programs teams for strategic financial planning and utilization based on monthly and annual allocation.
* Strengthen internal controls and contribute to organization transparency.
* Monthly variance reporting, template development as and when required.
* Assist in budgeting, fund reconciliation, and financial planning, management and Organizational Sustainability
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Graduate/Post-graduate in Commerce (B. Com/M. Com);
* Minimum 5 -7 years of relevant experience in accounts, preferably in the NGO/development sector accounting procedures.
* Hands - on experience in managing FCRA, Income-Tax, and CSR funds.
* Rigorous and detail - oriented with and ability to multi-task and work effectively in edverac and fast paced work environment.
* Ability to coach both finance and Non-finance people on financial issue including budgeting and internal controls.
* Proficiency in TallyERP9 (latest version), MS Excel, and Accounting Software.
* Knowledge of FCRA, Income Tax, and other NGO financial regulations is essential.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
