Finance Manager

Role Overview

Xentric Global is hiring a Finance Manager to work for one of the clients. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, cash flow, and financial controls. The role involves driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and supporting business scalability in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Controls

Manage key balance sheet areas, including reconciliations and journal entries

Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting

Maintain strong financial controls and proper documentation

Support internal and external audits

Accounts Receivable and Cash Management

Oversee debtor ledger, collections, and reconciliations

Monitor and reconcile payment platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, and eBay

Review merchant fees and ensure correct settlements

Accounts Payable

Manage the accounts payable function end-to-end

Ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices

Conduct regular creditor reviews and resolve discrepancies

Systems and Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work

Work with internal teams to enhance system efficiency and data accuracy

Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives

Team Management

Manage and support junior team members

Ensure work is allocated effectively and deadlines are met

Other Responsibilities

Handle chargebacks and payment disputes

Support cost monitoring and analysis

Assist with ad hoc financial tasks and projects

Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent)

Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls

Experience working with ERP systems and Excel; exposure to BI tools is an advantage

Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders

Practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling day-to-day finance operations

Prior experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment is preferred
