Finance Manager - India
The company is seeking a high-caliber Finance Manager to lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance operations for the India office. The role will ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, robust internal controls, and effective treasury management, while delivering accurate and timely reporting to regional leadership. As the senior finance lead in India, the role will report to the Finance Director Middle East & India and will act as a strategic partner to local leadership and a key liaison with the Middle East Finance team, supporting business performance, governance, and sustainable growth.
Location: Gurgaon in 4-day from office setup
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
Lead end-to-end accounting operations for the India entity in compliance with local statutory requirements and group policies.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the Middle East regional finance team.
Oversee financial statement preparation and ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnering
Drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Track business performance against budget and support leadership with financial insights and scenario analysis.
Partner with Partners and Practice Leaders to support decision-making, pricing considerations, and cost optimization.
Support strategic initiatives and growth plans with financial modelling and analysis.
3. Treasury & Working Capital Management
Oversee treasury operations including cash flow management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
Monitor working capital, receivables, and billing cycles to optimize cash conversion.
Ensure appropriate financial controls over payments, collections, and vendor management.
4. Compliance, Controls & Governance
Ensure full compliance with Indian statutory and tax regulations (Corporate Tax, GST, TDS, PF, and other local laws).
Strengthen and maintain internal controls in line with group standards and best practices.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Support internal audits and ensure timely remediation of findings.
5. Team Leadership & Process Excellence
Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team.
Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and reporting frameworks.
Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
CA (preferred), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within a multinational, consulting, or professional services environment.
Strong expertise in Indian taxation, statutory compliance, treasury, and financial reporting.
Experience working within a regional or matrix reporting structure.
Proven track record in strengthening controls and leading finance teams.
