Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining books of accounts, processing payments, enforcing financial controls and compliance, generating financial reports, and managing stakeholder relationships. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to financial policies, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Ensure all sales, purchases, income, expenses, payments, and receipt transactions are recorded accurately on the same day (D0) or by Day+1.
- Maintain up-to-date books of accounts, complete relevant reconciliations, and promptly address or escalate any exceptions.
Payment Processing
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments through bank login as per received input and agreed timelines with stakeholders.
Controls & Compliance
- Establish, maintain, and improve controls in financial procedures, including operational and financial controls.
- Adhere to company financial policies and prudent financial goals.
- Drive ongoing compliance efforts to meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
Reporting
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely management reporting, including both standard and ad hoc reports.
- Prepare financial statements, including Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Funds Flow Statements.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with finance stakeholders to maintain professional and cordial relationships, including vendors (operating, software, hardware, and real estate), employees, government authorities, investors, and customers.
Key Requirements:
- CA / ICWA fresher or semi-qualified with at least 2 years experience in Tally and POS (Pet Pooja)
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management in hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
