Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused Finance Manager to oversee core finance operations, reporting, compliance, and process controls at our Visakhapatnam office.
This role requires hands-on experience in financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, audits, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Finance Director to ensure strong governance, timely reporting, and support for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Closure
- Drive accurate and timely month-end and year-end closures.
- Prepare MIS, P&L reports, and variance analyses for leadership review.
- Ensure data integrity across systems and reconciliations.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis against budgeted vs. actual performance.
- Highlight key trends and actionable insights.
- Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls and support internal and external audits.
- Maintain clean books and documentation for audit readiness.
- Vendor, Procurement & Cost Oversight
- Partner with procurement and logistics to track spends, pricing, and credit terms.
- Support cost control initiatives, monitor overheads, and validate vendor payments.
- ERP & Process Automation
- Work on ERP/financial tools to automate reports, approvals, and accounting workflows.
- Collaborate with the tech team to refine finance-related systems and dashboards.
- Cross-Functional Support & Business Partnering
- Work with sales, operations, and category teams to support business-linked finance needs.
- Track key financial KPIs like cash flow, gross margin, working capital, and cost per MT.
Requirements
- 5-12 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial planning.
- Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, infrastructure, or B2C platforms is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IND AS), GST, TDS, and audit practices.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP tools (SAP/Tally/Oracle), and MIS dashboards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Based in or open to relocating to Visakhapatnam; this is a Work from Office role.
