Job Summary:
The role will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, preparing financial reports, and managing budgets. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual to streamline accounting processes and support decision-making with accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting
Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Manage vendor and client invoicing, payments, and collections.
Reconcile AR/AP ledgers and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Prepare and monitor budgets, highlighting variances and providing actionable insights.
Support the preparation of financial forecasts and models.
Taxation and Compliance
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other tax returns on time.
Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and provide support during audits.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in preparing P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Audit Support
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Ensure timely and accurate responses to audit queries.
Team Collaboration
Supervise junior accountants and assist with their training and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education: CMA/MBA/M.Com
Experience: 47 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS regulations.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, SAP).
Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
