Job Summary
As a Finance Manager at Remitap, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. This role requires managing day-to-day accounting functions while supporting strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and account closures while providing cash flow and budget insights to support effective management decision-making.
Ensure statutory and tax compliance, manage audits, maintain strong internal controls, and oversee timely tax filings.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, analyse variances, and recommend cost optimisation strategies.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, regulators, and internal teams to support financial planning, cost control, and provide insights to senior management.
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional certification such as CA / CPA / ACCA preferred.
- 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar). - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
