Job Description

About the Position :

Finance Manager should be experienced in all aspects of financial management, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 10-15 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with financial statement preparation for all types of legal entities
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • Experience in preparing and review of payroll and accounting experience with various accounting software administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to travel to Chennai (Head office) as and when required

Roles and Responsibilities Accounting

  • Day to Day accounting entries on in-house accounting software and Statutory & Financial Management Daily sales billing on in-house ERP system
  • Verification of the accuracy of invoices before processing for payment also evaluate business transactions under various statutory regulations and review key agreements and their business impacts.
  • Vigilantly record expense entries and payment entries
  • Ensure to maintain error-free accounting
  • Prepare SOPs as necessary
  • Maintain transparent and organized documentation for all contracts/ agreements/ invoices/ payments, etc Coordinating with external consultants, vendor negotiations, and key stakeholder relationship management.
  • Receivable and payable management, Liquidity management, and periodic cash flow management Proactively coordinate with the head office to continually improve ERP / systems. Coordinate with external vendors as needed.
  • Proactively identifying gaps and fixing them by designing and executing processes, systems, and controls. Prepare SOPs and Policies in areas such as business/E-commerce operations, accounting, payroll, invoicing, etc.
  • Ensure Legal compliance for all the company activities.
  • Plan and organize accounting work in the department.
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts. Prepare and review the financial statement and management reports / MIS
  • Prepare budget, forecast, analyze any discrepancy and propose any recommendation for improvement Working and coordinating with other departments for cost reduction and business growth strategies

Required skills/ experience:

  • Prior experience in corporate or consultancy, specifically in a well-developed team.
  • Experience managing accounts for a retail / inventory-based business is preferred
  • Advanced excel skills required; proficiency in numbers and mathematics

Total Experience:

10-15 years of experience in core accounting role.

Education Qualification

B.com/ M.com/ CA inter/ CA/ MBA
