The Successful Applicant

Key Skills and CompetenciesTechnical & Functional

  • Deep expertise in financial reporting, MIS, consolidation support, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of EU statutory reporting, VAT, and regulatory compliance.
  • Handson experience with ERPdriven reporting and automation (Odoo exposure preferred).
  • Strong command of Excel, reporting tools, Macros, AI tools and data reconciliation techniques.
  • Experience with reporting automation and dashboard tools like Tableau, Power BI preferred.

Behavioural & Leadership

  • Strong ownership and control mindset.
  • Ability to challenge data, assumptions, and stakeholders constructively.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and escalation skills.
  • High resilience and ability to manage pressure during peak reporting cycles.

Education and Experience

  • CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Financial reporting, MIS reporting, FP&A or controllership roles with a large organisation and exposure to multiple geographies & currency reporting.
  • Strong command over IFRS and GAAP, experience with Big 4 preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role.
