Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial reporting. The Finance Manager will prepare and review financial statements, monitor compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and coordinate with auditors and external consultants as needed. The role involves analyzing financial data to support decision-making, managing accounting processes such as payables, receivables, and reconciliations, and implementing controls to safeguard company assets. The Finance Manager will collaborate with leadership to optimize financial performance, support strategic planning, and guide junior team members.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis for business decision-making.
- Proficiency with accounting and finance software (such as ERP or MIS tools) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to lead finance operations, implement internal controls, and manage audits and regulatory filings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in a finance manager or senior finance role within professional services or related sectors is an advantage.
