Job Description

Position: Manager Finance

PROFILE : Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) and / or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) mandatory

Strong exposure to plant finance, cost accounting, and financial controls.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Experience(Yrs.& industry): Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Reports to: CFO - India

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Control

Assist in preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.

Maintain strong internal controls and support continuous improvement of financial processes.

Costing & Manufacturing Finance

Oversee product costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and margin analysis.

Monitor BOM, inventory valuation, WIP, and overhead absorption.

Work closely with plant and operations teams for reporting accuracy.

Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

Prepare and analyze MIS reports for management, highlighting key financial and operational metrics.

Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Audit, Compliance & Taxation

Coordinate internal and statutory audits; address audit queries and ensure timely closure.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, income tax, and other local regulations.

Assist in tax planning and timely filing of returns in coordination with tax consultants.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

Monitor working capital components including receivables, payables, and inventory.

Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.

Ensure adherence to credit policies and optimize cash cycles.

Systems & Process Improvement

Support implementation and enhancement of SAP.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and cost reduction.

Ensure data integrity and effective use of financial systems.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, supply chain, and sales.

Act as a key liaison with auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
