Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager Accounts Payable to lead and strengthen the Payables function within their organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving financial governance, cost control, statutory compliance, and operational excellence across vendor management, invoice processing, payroll accounting, fixed assets accounting, and related financial processes. The role will partner closely with Treasury and business stakeholders to ensure disciplined cost management, process adherence, and scalable financial operations in a growing IT services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations including vendor invoice accounting, payroll accounting, and fixed assets accounting
• Ensure compliance with purchase order processes, vendor invoice documentation, and statutory regulations
• Collaborate with the Treasury team on cash flow planning related to payables
• Drive cost budgeting, tracking actuals vs budget, and financial forecasting
• Prepare and present cost reports and variance analysis to management
• Identify and implement cost-reduction and process optimization initiatives
• Establish and monitor financial controls and governance frameworks
• Oversee and mentor the Payables team to ensure adherence to financial processes and timelines
• Work cross-functionally with business units to drive disciplined cost management

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Payables / Finance leadership roles
• Prior experience within an IT Services / Technology organization preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statistics, and statutory compliance
• Hands-on experience with finance systems such as SAP BYD / SAC
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor finance teams
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial reporting
• B.Com / M.Com mandatory
• CA / CA-Inter preferred
• Additional professional accounting certifications are a plus
