WHY THE ROLE EXISTS
To deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting, ensuring the integrity of core accounting processes while supporting the business through its next phase of growth. The Finance Manager will be a dynamic, result driven individual who plays a critical role in maintaining robust accounting infrastructure and financial controls, supporting audit and tax compliance, and driving automation and scalability through systems and process improvements.
WHAT THE ROLE DOES
- Prepare and post all accounting transactions, including intercompany transactions.
- Own the entire Month end reporting function, including reviews and reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents for statutory and tax audits.
- Own all statutory and regulatory compliance including PF, PT, GST, TDS, Advance tax, etc and ensuring everything is buttoned up and audit ready.
- Knowledge of local filings like STPI/Non STPI
- Have knowledge of transfer pricing agreements between entities and all compliance related to it.
- Maintaining third party relationships, e.g. vendors, clients, professional service providers, auditors, etc.
- Must have experience working with NetSuite, MS Excel.
- Have knowledge of O2C and P2P processes.
- Lead initiatives for process improvements and cost control within the finance function.
- Able to support the team with ad hoc requests as needed.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT
- You're a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of progressive accounting and Finance experience.
- You have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP, Indian GAAP, month-end, and bookkeeping
- You have an experience with statutory audit of books of accounts and can own the process.
- You are adaptable, accountable, and eager to grow with a fast paced, global environment.
- You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- You have experience gained internationally (either working abroad or working for an international company)
