Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial reporting and accounting operations in India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution to support the company's growth and long-term financial stability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and all local statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external accounting partners and manage relationships with auditors and tax consultants.
  • Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Administration, HR) to support business operations.
  • Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital.
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee treasury-related activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and accountability.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and support special projects as required.

Reporting

  • Reports to the Controller based in Singapore.

Requirements

  • CA, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualification/degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and global reporting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP.

This position will be based in our office located in Bangalore.
