Own the entire finance function of a profitable, fast-growing global company — reporting directly to the COO with zero layers in between while building the financial systems, controls, and planning infrastructure that will help scale revenue to $10M+.

Flexiple is a profitable, bootstrapped managed marketplace helping global companies build offshore teams and GCCs in India. We support hiring across engineering, product, design, marketing, sales, finance, operations, and HR functions while serving customers globally.

This is not a traditional accounting role. This is an opportunity to become the first dedicated finance leader at Flexiple, working directly with the COO to build finance operations, financial planning, business controls, forecasting processes, and decision-making systems from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Own and lead the finance function for both India and US entities.
• Build financial controls, governance frameworks, approval workflows, and operational finance processes.
• Establish maker-checker controls across invoicing, payroll, vendor payments, reimbursements, and contractor payouts.
• Build and improve expense management systems, financial reporting processes, and reconciliation workflows.
• Oversee monthly and periodic financial close processes in partnership with auditors and accounting partners.
• Review and validate client invoicing, contractor billing, pricing changes, and revenue-related processes.
• Develop project-level profitability, margin tracking, and engagement performance reporting systems.
• Drive quarterly planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance reviews.
• Build cash flow forecasting models, receivables tracking systems, and working capital management processes.
• Partner directly with leadership to provide business insights, financial analysis, and decision support.
• Manage external stakeholders including auditors, banks, compliance partners, accountants, and financial service providers.
• Review GST, TDS, FEMA, payroll, and compliance processes to ensure operational accuracy.
• Lead and mentor Finance Associates while building scalable finance operations.
• Design financial dashboards, reporting frameworks, and management information systems (MIS).
• Improve financial visibility across revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and business performance metrics.

What We're Looking For

• 4–7 years of experience in finance, FP&A, financial operations, controllership, or business finance roles.
• Experience working in startups, high-growth businesses, marketplaces, consulting firms, staffing firms, or services organizations.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and business finance.
• Hands-on experience with Indian compliance requirements including GST, TDS, and FEMA fundamentals.
• Experience building, improving, or scaling finance processes and operational controls.
• Strong Excel, Google Sheets, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing team members, stakeholders, or cross-functional business processes.
• Familiarity with Zoho Books, Tally, accounting systems, or ERP platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate independently and thrive in an ownership-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

• Services, staffing, marketplace, consulting, outsourcing, or contractor-driven business models.
• Exposure to US entities, international finance operations, or cross-border payments.
• Margin tracking, project profitability, revenue operations, or business performance reporting.
• Transfer pricing, audit coordination, compliance oversight, or multi-entity accounting environments.
• CA, CA Inter, MBA Finance, CFA, or equivalent finance qualifications.
