Description
As an Order to Cash Business Partnering leader you are expected to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like tax, accounting, legal, finance to enable swift and successful new business & product launches through Finance Operations systems, processes, policies and people support.
- Partner with internal and external tax partners, to understand regulatory and compliance changes, primarily on Indirect taxation and dive-deep on impact assessment for existing Order to Cash technologies, policies & processes. Identify and propose configuration changes, enhancements and conduct head-count re-assessment.
- Digitization and automation - On the Order to cash cycle, conduct external and internal bench-marking studies, gather customer feedback and translate these key-insights with various technology teams to innovate, identify, and develop long term scalable solutions, to support business growth and deliver a friction-less customer experience.
- Simplification, Standardization, Productivity - Identify and develop opportunities for improved cash flow and productivity, by collaborating and building relationships with cross-functional owners, adopting global best practices, but at the same time being a strong on-ground voice for local customization where needed. Drive end-to-end improvements on Order to Cash flow with sound financials and customer experience enhancement tenets.
- Deliver improvements in Order to cash input and output KPIs, by identifying upstream inefficiencies and defects, driving accountability with upstream stakeholder teams to minimize/eliminate the defects.
- Work with business groups to understand business model & different finance processes, and be a strong voice of controllership and compliance to Finance Operations interconnected process owners. Build processes, define procedures and policies with strong focus on Controllership and Compliance.
- Maintain exceptional relationship with business and extended FinOps stakeholders, identify and resolve key business issues impacting finance operations ability to provide optimal customer experience.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- CA or MBA with 8+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 8+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making, or experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- - Handling big data sets, SQL query writing, use of bots and AI tools
