1. JOB PURPOSE
The Finance Manager will support the offshore finance operations of Dnata India, covering both shared service and Visa business functions. The role focuses on financial planning, analysis, and performance management to ensure efficient and compliant operations aligned with Dnata Group Finance objectives. The incumbent will serve as a key finance partner to business and functional leaders, driving accuracy, insight, and accountability in financial management.
2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS (MAXIMUM OF 10)
- Business Partnering & Commercial Support
- Partner with offshore operations and Visa business leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Translate business strategies into measurable financial targets and KPI frameworks.
- Financial Performance & Reporting
- Deliver monthly management reporting with actionable insights on business performance.
- Track and present key performance indicators for offshore service functions and Visa operations.
- Support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) with global stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy, automation, and process efficiency.
- Financial Controls & Governance
- Maintain effective internal controls in accordance with Companies Act, 2013 and Dnata Group policies.
- Ensure compliance with Internal Financial Control (IFC) frameworks and participate in audit reviews.
- Support implementation of financial governance standards across offshore activities.
- Statutory Compliance & Taxation Oversight
- Ensure compliance with Indian statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, transfer pricing, Companies Act).
- Assist in coordinating with auditors and advisors during statutory audits and tax assessments.
- Support accurate financial statement preparation in adherence to global reporting frameworks (IFRS).
- Finance Operations (Offshore & Visa Business)
- Oversee core finance operations (O2C, P2P, R2R) including Visa transaction accounting and reconciliations.
- Work with shared service teams to streamline offshore finance processes and ensure SLA adherence.
- Support transition or automation initiatives for enhanced efficiency and control.
- Stakeholder & Global Collaboration
- Serve as a key liaison between Dnata India, Group Finance (Dubai), and business stakeholders.
- Present analysis and insights to senior management including Visa business performance updates.
- Foster collaboration across finance, operations, and IT to support strategic initiatives.
- Team Support & Capability Building
- Mentor junior finance professionals within the India finance team.
- Promote a culture of accuracy, control, and continuous learning.
- Support cross-training and capability development for future leadership within the offshore center.
3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Advanced proficiency in accounting, business transaction structuring, financial modelling, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
- Good understanding of financial control frameworks and compliance environments.
- Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills to engage global stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to think strategically and commercially.
- Familiarity with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, Power BI).
Qualifications:
- CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in offshore centers or global capability centers (GCC/GIC), preferably supporting global operations (aviation/logistics/travel industry desirable).
- Strong understanding of Indian statutory requirements and multi-entity reporting environments.
- Exposure to global reporting frameworks (IFRS)
