Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Manager, based at Chanakya University in North Bengaluru. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to ensure effective resource allocation and compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities include managing accounts and audits, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial performance, and overseeing financial transactions related to funding, payroll, and procurement. The role also requires close collaboration with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning
- Proficiency in accounting principles, audit practices, and compliance with financial regulations
- Experience in managing payroll, procurement processes, and reporting
- Excellent analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree or professional certification like CA/CPA preferred)
- Experience in education sector finance or not-for-profit organizations will be an added advantage
