Role Description The Finance Manager (Chartered Accountant) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for assigned clients or internal business units. This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing management information systems (MIS), dashboards, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager will coordinate with accounting teams to ensure accurate books, timely compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements, and investor-ready financial documentation. The role also involves working closely with leadership and client stakeholders to improve financial processes, support capital-raising activities, and implement best practices in financial control and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis.
• Experience with accounting operations, financial reporting, and preparation of MIS and dashboards.
• Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to SMEs and growing companies.
• Ability to design and maintain investor-ready financial systems and support capital-raising initiatives.
• Proficiency with financial and accounting software, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Prior experience in a finance leadership, financial controller, or similar role in consulting, startups, or SMEs is preferred.
