Finance Manager

Role Description The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role, based in Mumbai, will involve preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls. The Finance Manager will analyze financial data to support strategic decisions, monitor costs and margins, and partner with leadership on pricing, inventory, and investment decisions. Responsibilities also include coordinating with external auditors, managing banking relationships, and implementing process improvements to strengthen financial discipline and support the company's growth.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Candidates should possess solid accounting and reporting skills, including experience with financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel and accounting/ERP systems, and be comfortable working with data to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance team members.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent credentials are preferred.
• Experience in consumer goods, retail, footwear, or manufacturing environments, particularly in small or growing organizations, will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting are essential.
