Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a result-oriented Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting, analysis, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure proper accounting, audit trail, and compliance of all claims in line with statutory requirements and internal policies
2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support management decision-making
3. Develop and monitor annual budgets; perform variance analysis between actual and projected results and recommend corrective actions
4. Lead the finalization of annual accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards and disclosure requirements
5. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, handling tax notices, appeals, and coordination with tax consultants
6. Manage and coordinate with internal, statutory, and external auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits
7. Oversee vendor payments, including foreign remittances, ensuring adherence to statutory compliances such as TDS and input tax credit eligibility
8. .Strengthen internal financial controls by designing and implementing effective financial and costing systems
9. Ensure proper maintenance of financial records in line with audit and regulatory requirements
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations across the organization
11. Drive employee engagement initiatives within the finance team and contribute to a high- performance work culture

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance
• Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• In-depth understanding of accounting standards and audit processes
• Experience in handling statutory compliances including TDS and GST
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency in financial systems and ERP too

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• Additional certifications in finance/accounting (preferred)

Experience Profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial management, reporting, and taxation
• Proven track record in handling audits, compliance, and financial controls
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG/industrial sector is an added advantage
