Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas
Business Support - Finance for Industrial:
- Support business performance targets and profitability goals.
- Maintain healthy working capital by balancing receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
- Provide timely management reports to leadership for decision-making.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts in line with timelines.
- Monitor and report on operating expenses.
Costing, Cost Audit & Reporting:
- Complete costing and financial reporting within required timelines.
- Ensure compliance with cost audits and internal financial controls.
- Perform variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
- Reconcile sales and material costs with accounting records.
- Support purchase order approvals and commercial reporting requirements.
Driving Efficiency & Margin Improvement:
- Drive margin improvement of manufactured products through collaboration with Commercial, Technology, and Plant teams.
- Enhance efficiency in logistics and freight operations.
- Monitor and implement corrective actions for margin improvement of traded products.
- Oversee cost tracking and optimization initiatives.
Automation & Reports:
- Drive automation in financial reporting and improve report accuracy.
- Generate and analyze system-based reports for performance insights
Candidate Profile
Educational & Work Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA 1st attempt) with 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance planning & analysis, costing, in an industrial, B2B or manufacturing environment.
Key Competencies | Skills:
- Strong knowledge of costing principles, audits, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with management reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
