Role Overview

The Cinnamon Kitchen is looking for a Finance Lead to take ownership of the finance function in a high-growth consumer business environment. We are looking for someone who ideally brings experience from startup or emerging consumer brands, understands fast-paced business decision-making, and can build finance systems that support scale.

What You'll Do

• As an early finance hire, you'll step into a Deputy CFO-like role and take full ownership of the finance function.
• You will build and implement processes and controls to prevent value leakage, and manage monthly closings, MIS reporting, and internal financial hygiene.
• Working closely with the CEO and founding team, you'll play a strategic role in driving growth and profitability through financial insights, pricing strategies, and data-driven decision-making.
• This role offers end-to-end exposure across business finance, FP&A, working capital management, accounts receivable/payable, vendor negotiations, compliance, budgeting, and fund flow management—giving you a 360° view of finance in a high-growth startup.

What We're Looking For

• CA qualification is mandatory
• 2+ years of experience in finance; startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred
• Experience in consumer brands, D2C, food, FMCG, or startup ecosystems will be an advantage
• Excellent analytical skills and a solid grip on Excel and financial modeling
• High ownership mindset with the ability to independently build processes from the ground up
• Agile, curious, and open to learning—especially in a fast-moving, dynamic startup environment
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking initiative in unstructured situations
• Strong in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
• A team player with the ability to lead through empathy, clarity, and accountability
