Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to support our Finance team, with a primary focus on fixed asset accounting, and audit support. The role involves ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and seamless coordination during internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), including capitalization, disposals, transfers, and depreciation in line with accounting standards.
- Conduct physical verification of fixed assets, including tagging and reconciliation with financial records.
- Support internal, statutory, and tax audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and relevant documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to fixed assets, capital expenditure, and other key areas.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, particularly for fixed assets and related accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Admin, IT, Operations) for asset tracking, validation, and reporting.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and strengthening of financial controls.
- Assist with other finance and accounting responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / CA (Inter) preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, fixed assets accounting, or audit support
- Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting, capitalization, and depreciation principles.
- Familiarity with audit processes and financial documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation standards.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
