We are looking for a sharp and reliable Finance Executive to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a semi-qualified CA with hands-on experience in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. You'll be deeply involved in maintaining the integrity of our financial data, supporting compliance, and ensuring seamless accounting. You'll work closely with senior finance team members and cross-functional teams, contributing to process improvements and building scalable financial systems to support Gameberry's fast-paced growth.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting operations and ensure books are updated accurately and timely.
- Manage all entries and reconciliations in Zoho Books - including vendor bills, payments, receipts, advances, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of the MIS for internal review and annual financial statements.
- Support statutory and internal audits by providing necessary data and explanations.
- Assist in TDS, GST, and other statutory compliances, including returns filing.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Maintain and organise supporting documentation and ensure data integrity.
- Work on Excel-based models, templates, and reconciliations for various financial analyses.
- Coordinate with external consultants (auditors, tax advisors, etc. ) as required.
Requirements
- Semi-qualified CA (CA Inter) with 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books and a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, payroll-related compliances, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
