Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial information and align with organizational objectives.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Review and reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and monitor financial policies, procedures, and controls for compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations.
  • Provide support and mentorship to finance team members to promote teamwork and productivity.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, financial regulations, and evolving best practices in accounting and finance.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (M.Com preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related areas, ideally in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in financial management.
