KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Finance Director at NAAR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operational excellence of a rapidly scaling social e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring robust financial controls, and driving sustainable growth across multiple geographies.
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with NAAR's global expansion plans.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business objectives and market entry initiatives.
- Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with international financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Drive vendor negotiations and manage relationships to optimize cost structures and contractual terms.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decision- making.
- Lead the adoption and integration of advanced finance tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Support fundraising activities, investor relations, and capital allocation decisions.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial
- operations, preferably within e-commerce, technology, or high-growth environments. Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Proven track record in managing multi-country financial operations and compliance.
- Experience with finance tools and ERP systems is highly desirable.
Educational Qualification:
- MBA in Finance (mandatory).
- Additional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CFA are advantageous.
