Job Description

Candidate must have exposure to Chemical/Pharma operations as controllers with SAP ERP Knowledge and working experience

  1. Financial accounting: Record, summarize, and report transactions from business operations over time.
  2. Costing, budgeting, and business analytics: Estimate costs, plan finances, and analyze business data for informed decision-making.
  3. Working Capital and Cash Flow Management: Manage short-term assets and liabilities to ensure liquidity for operational needs and investments.
  4. Ensure effective internal financial controls: Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial reporting within the specified department.
  5. Oversee the AP (Accounts Payable) and AR (Accounts Receivable) function: Manage payments and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
  6. Indirect tax compliances: Adhere to laws and regulations related to taxes passed on to the end consumer.
  7. Preparing the annual budget and monitoring it: Track financial performance and make necessary adjustments on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  8. Ensure MIS (Management Information System) and Statutory Audit are completed: Provide critical data for decision-making and verify the accuracy of financial statements within set timelines.
  9. Reviewing project cost: Highlight potential project risks and opportunities for proactive financial management.
  10. Providing inputs to business leaders on cost control and overall profitability: Aid in strategic decision-making to enhance financial performance.

Critical Competency :

  • Ability to lead a team of 2-3 team members
  • Has knowledge about taxation, statutory and plant accounting
  • Effective communicator
  • Should be able to interact with business leaders and partner with business
  • Should be able to articulate and express his/her ideas and opinions and create buy-in amongst business and team members
  • Sound accounting knowledge
