Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with taxation laws, processing payroll, and coordinating with auditors and company secretaries for statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including P&L, balance sheets, and accounting reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns and TDS payments.
- Ensure accuracy in financial operations and provide support for continuous process improvement.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory deductions.
- Process invoices, verify bills, and manage vendor payments efficiently.
- Liaise with auditors to support statutory audits and financial compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with the Company Secretary for adherence to regulatory and governance requirements.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flow operations.
- Generate MIS reports, assist in budget planning, and support financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with departments to compile and finalize the company's annual report.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally.
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing and vendor management.
- Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
