Finance Associate

Role Overview:

You are a recently qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in a startup environment, eager to go beyond bookkeeping. In this role at Arbor Mobility, you will be bridging finance, operations, and strategy in the fast-growing electric mobility and energy business. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the business team to build and scale an infrastructure-heavy venture from the ground up, involving strategic finance, business finance & operations, and accounting & compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on financial modelling, forecasting, and business planning.
• Support fundraising, investor decks, and data rooms.
• Contribute to expansion decisions such as new regions, fleet scale, and infrastructure deployment.
• Build and streamline finance processes.
• Support monitoring cost structures across vehicles, energy, and operations.
• Support pricing, cost optimization, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Bring financial discipline into day-to-day business decisions.
• Own day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC).
• Prepare financial statements, MIS, and cash flow reports with real-time business visibility.
• Work directly with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications Required:

• Recently qualified CA (01 years) with strong fundamentals in accounting, taxation, compliance, and Excel proficiency (financial modeling mindset preferred)
• High ownership mindset and attention to detail, paired with sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
