Job Title: Finance & Accounting Operations Lead (Strategic Growth Focus)

Location: New Delhi, India

Mode: Hybrid (with on-site visits to the Non Zero office in South Delhi as required)

Experience Required: 5+ years in finance roles preferably within design, marketing, or techagencies (CPA/CMA certification or equivalent) with exposure to AI workflows, newtechnologies, financial analytics, etc.

Core Objectives:

The Finance & AccountingOperationsLeadwilloverseefinance,accounting,taxation,andcomplianceforNonZeroanditsaffiliate entities.Thisincludesbookkeeping,taxfilings,audits, corporate compliance, and financial advisory.

Buildscalablefinancialprocessesforglobaloperations,ensuringcompliancewithinternational accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.

Drive financial strategy for new ventures, including projections, risk assessments, andROI analysis to support founder-led decisions.

Implementanalyticsframeworkstotrackprofitability,clientmargins,andproject- level financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Thisroleinvolvesacombinationoffoundationalaccountingtasks,financialstrategy,andprocess improvements tailored to the creative industry:

Managing Cash Flow: Oversee all fund inflows and outflows, ensuring liquidity foroperations and growth.

General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records, reconcile accounts, andprepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Billing&Invoicing:Issueclientinvoices,trackreceivables,andfollowuponoverdue payments.

Expense & Payroll Management: Manage vendor payments, employee

reimbursements, and ensure timely payroll.

FinancialReporting&Analysis:Prepareandpresentfinancialreports,analyzeproject profitability, and offer decision-making insights.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecast financialperformance, and support strategic planning.

Compliance & Tax Management: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and taxlaws; prepare and file tax returns.

Process Improvement: Design and implement efficient financial processes andinternal controls.

Project Accounting: Track financial performance at the project level; support projectmanagers with actionable data.

StrategicConsulting:Provideinsightsforbusinessdecisions,newventures,andinvestments.

ProcessDesign:Createsystemsforinvoicing,expensemanagement,andmulti-currency reconciliations.

FinancialReporting:Deliverdashboardsoncashflow,P&L,andbalancesheetswith actionable insights.

Strategic Forecasting: Build 35 year financial models for new markets, mergers, orservice expansions.

Compliance & Audits: Develop workflows for tax filings and audits; maintain audit-ready documentation.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Align budgets with creative deliverables and clientcontracts.

Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate books for LLP and affiliates;reconcile monthly; close books and prepare reports.

Taxation&Filings:FileGST,TDS,andIncomeTaxreturns;manageauditsandadvise on tax strategies.

Corporate Compliance: Ensure compliance under LLP and Companies Act; manageMoMs, AGMs, resolutions, and ROC filings.

Audits & Internal Controls: Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits; maintaininternal controls.

FinancialAdvisory:GenerateMIS,cashflowforecasts,andprofitabilityreports;advise leadership on pricing, margins, and costing.

Structuring Support: Guide on restructuring (e.g., LLP to Pvt Ltd), ensuring properdocumentation and compliance.

Ancillary Tasks: Support payroll, vendor payments, invoicing, employee taxdeclarations,andbanking;assistwithfinancialaspectsofcontractsandvendoragreements.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strategic: Experience with scenario modeling, pricing strategies, and resourceallocation in creative agencies.

Regulatory:Knowledgeofglobaltaxframeworks(e.g.,GST,VAT)andpayrollcompliance for remote teams.

SoftSkills:Strongadaptability,stakeholdercommunication,andprocessproblem-solving.

Experience:5+yearsinfinanceroleswithindesign,marketing,ortechagencies

preferred.

Mandatory:Preferencewillbegiventocandidateswithexposureto AIworkflows,

new technologies, financial analytics, etc.

Certifications: CPA/CMA or equivalent.

Technology: Experience implementing ERP systems or automating workflows.

IndustryBackground:(Preferred)Experienceinfinance/complianceroleswithin

creative agencies, startups, or service firms.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian financial, tax, and corporate

compliance frameworks.

Tools: Proficiency in Tally, Zoho QuickBooks, and Excel.

General: Excellent communication, attentionto detail, and the ability to workindependently.
