Description
We are seeking a Finacle Application Support Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the effective operation of the Finacle banking application. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and understanding of banking processes to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and support end-users.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the Finacle application suite to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by users in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades.
- Conduct regular system monitoring and maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to application configurations and procedures.
- Assist in training end-users and providing support for application-related queries.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-9 years of experience in application support, preferably with Finacle or similar banking applications.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
- Experience with Java, J2EE, or other programming languages used in application development.
- Familiarity with banking operations and financial services sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
