Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for a Field Technician. The Field Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control systems, CCTV cameras, GPS tracking devices, and related technologies. Daily tasks include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing technical support, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate at optimal efficiency. The role may also involve providing guidance to customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical concerns.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Access Control Systems, CCTV Cameras, GPS Tracking Devices, and similar hardware.
- Expertise in troubleshooting technical hardware and software issues and performing preventive maintenance tasks.
- Experience in customer support and providing guidance on handling technical equipment.
- Knowledge of electronics and proficiency in using tools for system setup and repair.
- Ability to follow technical manuals, diagrams, and wiring blueprints for installation and maintenance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Prior experience in the security and surveillance industry is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in electronics, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
