Job Description:We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with a hardware or field support background to deliver best-in-class customer service and perform installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of SMART KIT devices installed in tractors. This is a field-intensive role requiring frequent travel within the assigned region.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable withhands-on device installation and repair, customer interaction, and coordination with the technical support team via video support.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel extensively across the assigned region/state to performdevice installations, servicing, and repairs.
- Handleon-site customer issuesand provide resolution through field visits.
- Coordinate with theTechnical Support teamto provide video-based troubleshooting and guidance.
- Performroot cause analysisof hardware and device-related issues at customer locations.
- Providecustomer trainingon device installation, product features, and mobile application usage.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer queries to improve satisfaction and retention.
- Support customers continuously duringpeak farming seasons, which may requirecontinuous travel for extended periods (up to a month).
Requirements & Skills:- Educational Qualification:ITI / Diploma preferred butnot mandatory.
- Experience:
- Prior experience inhardware installation, device fitting, repair, or field technical support is Preferred.
- Candidates fromfield sales backgrounds with basic IT/hardware knowledgecan also apply (training will be provided).
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of fitting, repairing, and troubleshooting electronic/hardware devices.
- Basic understanding of mobile apps and IT systems.
- Language Skills:Proficiency inHindi and local languageis mandatory.
- Travel Requirement:
- Candidates must bewilling to travel very frequentlybased on customer requirements.
- Strong communication skills and customer-handling ability.
