Job Purpose / Summary
- Provide on-site technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of equipment, machines, and systems sold by our company.
- Ensure high equipment uptime, meet service response targets, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the internal service team / support teams, relaying feedback and contributing to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Technical & Maintenance
- Perform installation, commissioning, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of machines / equipment.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Carry out alignment, balancing, coupling inspection, blade checks, calibration, and relevant adjustments.
- Replace or repair components / assemblies when needed; perform detailed inspections and root cause analysis.
Customer Interaction & Support
- Visit customer sites to respond to breakdown or service calls, as per SLA.
- Provide training / guidance to customer operators / technicians on proper operation, preventive maintenance, and safety.
- Address customer complaints or issues directly and escalate effectively when required.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and submit service reports, Time sheets, root cause reports, and other documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of service history, spare parts used, and customer feedback.
