Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Services Engineer located in Ahmedabad. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment and related instruments. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively addressing service-related issues. The role involves engaging with customers to deliver exceptional support and ensuring operational reliability for research and diagnostics equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Field Service, including installation and routine checks of diagnostic and laboratory instruments such Multimode Microplate Readers, Cell Imaging Systems and other equipments.
• Strong Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills to identify and resolve mechanical or technical issues quickly
• Technical Support skills for assisting customers with equipment integration, usage, and optimization
• Customer Service abilities to effectively communicate with clients and ensure a positive service experience
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and documentation
• Educational background in Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Experience in the diagnostics or research equipment sector is advantageous
• Willingness to travel locally for on-site client support
