Field Service Engineer

Job description:

• Install, implement, and optimizehardware, software, networking, and configurationfor GCMSD systems at customer sites.
• Providediagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolutionof product performance issues.
• Delivermaintenance, calibration, and repair services, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
• Advise customers onpreventive maintenance, configurations, and best practicesto enhance system performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential equipment or software issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Deliver integrated solutions includingperipherals, communications, operating systems, and application software(delivery only, not design).
• Serve as aninternal escalation pointfor technical issues and collaborate with globalSupport, Sales, Marketing, and R&Dteams.
• Providetechnical training, workshops, and knowledge-sharingsessions for customers and internal field engineers.
• May conducton-site calibrationfor large-volume customers.
• Maintain compliance withcustomer/vendor credentialing requirements, including certifications, health, and safety regulations.

Preferred Competencies:

• Deep understanding ofgas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and analytical workflows.
• Familiarity withthird-party products and laboratory software solutions.
• Experience managingcustomer escalationsand delivering technical excellence in high-pressure situations.
• Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally withglobal Agilent teams
