Responsibilities
- Responsible for Bench Repair, calibration, adjustments (automated and manual) and preventive maintenance of customer's Keysight Test and Measurement instruments in timely, thorough, and professional manner at Keysight expertise service center and(or) at our customer sites
- Perform complex repair that needs unique experience & skills.
- Go-to person for the team & help them trouble shoot unique problems
- Lead/participate in technical programs/projects
- Shall participate in train the trainer curriculums when new technologies, process or NPIs are introduced.
- Work with cross functional teams to address difficult repair situations, helping to return customer systems to fully functional status in the shortest time possible
- Solve a broad range of system problems of varying scope and complexity, involving hardware, software
- Person may need to travel to customer sites for diagnosis and troubleshooting of Keysight products.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by providing shortest TAT and advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations.
- Meeting CE performance metrics like customer satisfaction, TAT, Low re-repair rates, Quality compliance, lab protocol adherence etc.
- Required to support with production data and analytics when required
- Needs to lead or participate in ISO and Internal Keysight audits.
- He is also required to close audit findings.
- Needs to mentor, train CE's, and assist management in hiring.
- Understand root causes of failure by partnering closely with customers, divisions and other stake holders to develop strong preventive action and to avoid occurrences.
- Provide inputs for skill development and hardware capability and capacity build up.
- Work as a link between operations and business to understand fiscal year operations requirement and assist in developing same.
- Engage with spare parts planning team to ensure a healthy parts supply and thereby better service TAT's
- Lead and Participate in Projects and programs as required.
- Own the technical and process documentation
Qualifications
- A university degree in Electronics and Communication engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in service operations in the field of test and measurement.
- Knowledge on RF domain and Digital products is required
- Experience in Repair, calibration and maintenance of Test and measurement equipment.
- Excellent team spirit, ability to work in an environment where the commitment to deadlines for our customers will be a priority.
- Exposure to project management (Lean, GB and so on..)
- Good leadership and Communication skills
- Should own & know, how to ride two wheeler and or drive 4 wheeler
- Exposure to six sigma and lean methodology desirable.
- Prior experience in SME role is desirable
- Willingness to travel extensively in India and within Bangalore.
- Curiosity to learn new technologies
