Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhopal for a Field Sales Executive at Paytm. The Field Sales Executive will identify and onboard local businesses, manage merchant relationships, and promote Paytm's suite of payment products. Responsibilities include driving sales, educating merchants on the benefits of digital payments, and gathering customer feedback for product improvement. The role involves achieving sales targets while contributing to Paytm's growth in the local market.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Communication: Strong sales acumen, persuasive skills, and excellent verbal communication to engage with merchants and explain product offerings effectively.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, including after-sales support to ensure satisfaction.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Understanding of the regional market dynamics and demographics to drive business development strategies.
  • Problem-Solving and Negotiation: Strong problem-solving ability paired with negotiation skills to address merchant concerns and close deals successfully.
  • Adaptability and Team Collaboration: Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and contribute as an active member of a collaborative sales team.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of digital payment systems and comfort using mobile apps and technology to demonstrate products to merchants.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Previous field sales experience is advantageous but not required, as training and support will be provided.
