We are looking for a results-drivenField Sales Executiveto drive revenue growth for our packaged drinking water brand. In this role, you will beresponsible for expanding our market presence across retail, corporate, and institutional channels by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive on-the-ground professional who can effectively manage a sales territory and consistently meet or exceed volume targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and approach potential clients, including retail outlets, wholesalers, corporate offices, hotels (HoReCa), and event organizers to expand the customer base.
- Territory Management: Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly route visits within assigned geographical areas to ensure maximum market coverage and product availability.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales volume and value targets for various product sizes (e.g., 250ml, 1L).
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with distributors and retailers, resolving any service or delivery issues promptly to ensure customer loyalty.
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional schemes. Prepare daily sales reports and provide market feedback to senior management.
- Product Promotion & Merchandising: Execute trade marketing activities, ensure prominent brand visibility (merchandising) at retail points, and conduct product demonstrations where necessary.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with bulk and institutional buyers to secure profitable deals.
- Order & Collection Management: Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams for timely order fulfilment and assist in payment collections from clients.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 13 years of field sales experience, ideally within theFMCG, Beverage, or Packaged Drinking Waterindustry.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a go-getter attitude.
- Logistics: Possession of avalid two-wheeler driving licenseand a personal vehicle is typically mandatory for field visits.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the assigned local market and regional languages.
