Job Description

We're hiring for a client who recently raised $15M Series A from Bessemer Venture Partners and are scaling fast. They are building an AI-native billing & revenue automation platform helping B2B companies manage complex pricing, invoicing, and order-to-cash workflows.

We're seeking a Event Marketing Manager who excels in the chaos of event planning, enjoys building relationships, and can transform events into a pipeline-generating machine.

You'll own the online and offline event presence, from attending right conferences to planning webinars, managing intimate breakfasts and dinners with ICPs, sponsoring booths, and executing summits with over 150 attendees, while ensuring the team shows up prepared, the partners feel valued, and every attendee leaves impressed.

You'll work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Sales, and Founders. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of brand evangelism and execution, becoming the visible face at industry events while driving measurable pipeline results.

Role:

  • Own the brand calendar, field marketing strategy, and (online + offline) event budget
  • Research, evaluate, and finalize field marketing opportunities (conferences, summits, dinners, workshops, webinars, demo days) across key markets in the US
  • Negotiate sponsorships, booth packages, and speaking slots with event organizers
  • Ideate creative engagement strategies for events: unique booth experiences, interactive demos, memorable swag, networking activations that stand out
  • In-person (venue, F&B, AV/tech, swag, print collateral, on-ground coordination) and
  • Online (platform selection, driving registration, speaker rehearsals, production, Q&A moderation, recording)
  • Create comprehensive event playbooks: run-of-show documents, founder briefings, speaker prep calls, target account lists
  • Be the visible spokesperson—present the product and story at events, demo days, and webinars
  • Coordinate with SDRs pre/post-event to drive attendance and demo conversions
  • Track and report event ROI: pipeline generated, ICP meetings booked, brand visibility metrics

Requirements:

  • 3-10 years in field/event marketing at a B2B SaaS company (fintech, RevOps, or finance software strongly preferred)
  • Independently managed intimate 20-person events to large 100+ person conferences from start to finish in the US or any other developed country
  • Experience managing analyst relations or responding to industry inquiries (even informally)
  • Solid hustle and entrepreneurial mindset. You thrive under the uncertainty that comes with an early-stage setup
  • Obsessed with execution details. You triple-check table throw dimensions and bring backup extension cords to events
