Role Description The Field Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune District. This role oversees day-to-day field operations, including planning and coordinating field activities, supervising field teams, and ensuring timely execution of project plans. The Field Manager will collect, verify, and report field data, maintain communication between on-ground teams and central leadership, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role also includes supporting local stakeholder engagement, addressing operational challenges in real time, and contributing to process improvements for more effective field execution.
Qualifications

  • Strong field operations and team management skills, including coordination, supervision, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with data collection, verification, and basic analysis in on-ground project environments.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with diverse groups in the field.
  • Competence in planning, organizing, and problem-solving under time-sensitive and dynamic conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in relevant local languages is an advantage.
  • Comfort with using digital tools for reporting, tracking, and communication (e.g., spreadsheets, mobile apps, collaboration platforms).
  • Prior experience in political consulting, social impact projects, market research, or community outreach is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the Pune District and work flexible hours based on field requirements.
