  • Job Title - Field Engineer Technical Services (Bangalore, Pune, Delhi, Chennai)

Education/Qualification: BE/Diploma Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics

  • diploma/associate degree in engineering technology or similar
  • Graduation degree in engineering
  • Responsible for repair, installation, maintenance, retrofit, software update and testing of machine and equipment
  • Receive upcoming mission, reviewing proposed tools & parts from in-house. If questions/doubts occur, align with in-house service
  • Help identify quality issues of machine delivery to customer during installation (e.g. missing/damaged parts) via SIS quality feedback
  • Make travel arrangements via travel agency (flights, hotels, cars)
  • Constant documentation of activities inside SIS mission (incl. performed actions, problem solution, follow-up requirements)
  • Identify the malfunction associated with the system and communicates it to the customer
  • Dismantles the defective parts and replaces it with the new ones
  • Cleans and lubricates various parts of the machinery as well as repairs/replaces the electrical and electronic components of the equipment
  • Execution of assigned service missions as per the defined process.
  • Conduct operator's trainings from time to time for machines in coordination with the application team
  • Prepare service report & supplementary report with all the accurate work / travel timings, observation, action taken, and solutions recommended to the customer with the signature of authorized person and submission
  • Timely closing/synchronizing of the missions. Once the deviation of target time is foreseeable, inform mission planner in time
  • Preparing minutes of the meeting for all the special meetings done with the customer to summarize and document the discussions in the meeting as per defined guidelines. e.g., site surveys, service agreement discussions etc.
  • Responsible for strong co-ordination with the case owners for technical support & RSMs for internal escalations for customers.
  • Ensuring return of the warranty return parts with the pink tag (and special tools) back to TIN as per the guidelines
  • Appraise customer comments & remarks internally to improve the customer experience
  • Responsible for maintaining all the individual service tools.
  • Educate customer about the various products/services of TruServices
  • Responsible for timely submission of individual expense statements, bills for claims within defined timeline
  • Provide necessary information/ feedback to customer care with reference to any change in information at customer end like name, contact person, address etc. or billing discrepancies.
  • Provide the Root Cause Analysis Failure to the customer in coordination with the In-House team.
  • Prepare & share internal service news for any exceptional cases with the service team.
