# About the Role
- We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support the development and implementation of Neosem's Automated Memory Test solutions.
- In this role, you will act as the on-site technical expert, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
# Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for automated test systems and applications
- Assist design engineers in preparing and developing user manuals
- Work with industrial communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, CC-Link, and PROFINET
- Support and troubleshoot vision systems used in automation controls
- Analyze system logs (event logs, error logs) to identify root causes of issues
- Troubleshoot PC-based motion control systems and industrial I/O interfaces (digital/analog)
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and end-user training
- Perform other duties as assigned
# Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation controls or related fields
- Strong knowledge of industrial networks, system configuration, and electrical control circuits
- Good understanding of automated electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Hands-on experience with sensors, servo motors, stepper motors, and drives
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation to learn and improve processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with customers and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
