Role Overview
In this role, you will develop strong technical expertise in Melexis driver products and solutions and work closely with customers and internal teams to provide expert technical support. You will contribute to the business growth of driver products in India by enabling innovative customer applications and delivering high-value technical solutions.
You will collaborate with Application Engineers, Product Line teams, and Account Managers to support customers in developing advanced motor driver solutions and to create value through technology innovation and application expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Motor types include:
- Brushless DC (BLDC) motors
- Stepper motors
- DC motors
- Collecting and researching specific technical requirements from customers.
- Review of hardware and software design schemes and development plans.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Python) and debugging embedded systems.
- Experience with control systems e.g. FOC, Open loop stepper, design and implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Algorithm and basic software development skills.
- Related testing, verification, and improvement
- Providing training and technical guidance on difficult issues to the technical team and customer R&D teams.
- Working with the technical team to solve customers technical problems
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience,
- OR
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Five years of work experience with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or three years of work experience with a master's degree in electrical engineering, working as a research and development engineer or application engineer for EMD software and algorithms related to EMD algorithms.
- Positive attitude and good, fast learning ability are basic requirements.
- Good English capability of communicating, reading, and writing.
- Ability to summarize difficult technical issues in a simple and clear way
- Willingness to travel across India and occasionally to Melexis global sites.
