Field Application Engineer

Job Title: Field Application Engineer (Ahmadabad, India)

Location: Ahmadabad, Gujarat (On-site, travel required)

Role Overview:

Seeking a hands-on Field Application Engineer to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and commissioning for industrial automation systems. Immediate proficiency in VFD, PLC, HMI, and SERVO is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site start-up, debugging, and maintenance for VFD, PLC, HMI, and SERVO drives.

Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues at customer sites.

Conduct technical training for end-users and partners.

Collaborate with sales team to offer pre-sales and post-sales technical solutions.

Prepare service reports and document field issues.

Requirements:

Diploma/BE in E&E, E&C, or Instrumentation.

2–5 years of actual hands-on field support experience in VFD, PLC (ladder/logic), HMI programming, and SERVO tuning.

Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot I/O, communication protocols (Modbus, etc.).

Willingness to travel within Ahmadabad and surrounding industrial zones.

Strong English communication and on-site problem-solving skills.

Preferred (nice to have):

Experience with brands like Siemens, Delta, ABB, Yaskawa, or Mitsubishi.
